Vercel AI SDK harness 1.0.133 adds a readHistory({ since }) contract for normalized session history, with implementation handled by each harness adapter. It also emits tool lifecycle events and results as tools run, surfaces detach failures while keeping session handles usable, and changes the sandbox credential-environment helper. Applications integrating agent harnesses can use these contracts to retrieve new history and show tool progress.
The OpenAI adapter fixes recursive Zod schema rewriting
The @ai-sdk/openai 4.0.81 patch rewrites recursive Zod schemas that use allOf wrappers. This is an adapter compatibility fix for schema-based model output; it does not introduce a new model. Builders whose structured-output schemas use recursive definitions should check the patch against their existing schemas.
